Amparo Dora Palomino Merino Ph.D.

 

Amparo Dora Palomino Merino received a Ph.D. (2005) in Automatic Control from the HEUDIASYC laboratory of the University of Technology of Compiegne (UTC), France; a MsC. In Automatic Control from CINVESTAV – IPN, Mexico and an electronic engineer degree obtained at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Mexico.

Dr. Palomino skills includes: research, modeling and control of navigation systems and inertial systems, autonomous robotics systems, Nonlinear Control and Experimental Platforms for their application in various fields, both scientific and technological.

She has held, from 2008 to date, a strong collaboration with  "Unité Mixte de Internationale du CNRS", 3175 LAFMIA hosted by CINVESTAV, Mexico, which is a international French joint research laboratory partially funded by CNRS, France and CONACyT, Mexico. From 2013 to date, she has held a strong collaboration with the “Systèmes Aériens Autonomes” Team of the "Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées" at Ivry-sur-Seine, France. His current general research interests are focused on the design, modeling and control of systems in the field of aerial robotics. Currently, she holds an researcher professor position at the "Facultad de Ciencias de la Electrónica" of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla at Puebla, Mexico

Under Dr. Palomino advice have been entitled 12 students at the master's level. She boasts the distinction of PRODEP profile since 2008 to date, which gives the SEP, likewise belong to a group academic research recognized by SEP that has the major distinction. She has participated with presentations at national and international congresses in automation, mechatronics, robotics and control, as they are the lines of research that are related to the master's program to which she belong since 2006 at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla.
